I noticed an intermittent issue with the search.

Sometimes the search works and other times it goes to this page:

There was a problem loading this website

Try refreshing the page.

If the site still doesn’t load, please try again in a few minutes.

Here are a couple of search urls to test

The things I have tried:

  1. I tried clearing cache and cookies.

  2. I checked other browsers with and without incognito.

  3. I checked other themes.

The conclusion is that the issue is intermittent and something is getting screwy with Shopify’s internal search engine.

Please advise on what to do next.

When navigating to your website and searching California Gold® 3 Clay Bars I was able to locate the product and click into it with no issues. However, when searching for the Car Wash product, I am receiving the same error message. I was also able to replicate the same issue you’re experiencing through the two links you shared.

If you’re using a theme from the Shopify Theme Store (including third-party themes) I recommend getting in touch with our support team so that our Themes Team can further investigate. You can contact our team via the Shopify Help Center so we can take a closer look at where the issue is stemming from.

  • Log into your account via the Shopify Help Center
  • From the topics provided, select Online Store > Themes added to your store
