Shopify Service pros, are they a help or do I ditch him and go a different direction

Marketing and fine tuning the store front for a launch. Im not dissatisfied at all, i just want to make sure there’s really people out there doing this and not scamming me. I’ve never done this before. Does that make sense?

Your likely to have a bad time no matter what you do when you default to vague posting.
Done what before exactly, this isn’t a bar don’t play coy.
Communicate actual detail others need without being mind readers or having to extract info from you.
There is direct correlation between poor communication skill and being susceptible to scams & future business failure.

Is that what the business name is or what they purport to do.
Any third party service provider that bakes the word “shopify” itself is not an actual shopify partner as that’s against partner terms to abuse the shopify brandname for marketing purposes.
If they just say they are pros’ what specific work are they doing etc.
