Third Party payments POS card reader issue

I recently switched from shopify payments to a third party processor. I entered my API for them into Shopify. It works great for my online store, however, my POS app for in-store sales is not fully integrated. My tap & chip card reader will not function. Shopify hasn’t given me any solutions yet so we have to manually enter each credit card for each POS sale. since we are manually entering the card information, the payments are processing through my new payment provider. I do have a separate API key for my POS, however, there is nowhere to enter it in the POS app settings, nor would that necessarily solve the card reader issue?? Any experience with this issue? My new payment processor is Authorize.net.
