I just bought a new domain ( richypet.com ) but it doesn’t work in shopify and there is a notification says ’ this domain already taken by another shopify store’. I own that domain if you need the proof I can send it to you.

@richypet Try to connect your domain again as per below.
Online Store > Domains > Connect existing domain
I tried again to connect to my domain it doesn’t work. Please can you check again.
Yes I got it from namecheap and I followed every single step.
When I bought the domain it was available after that it became unavailable I tried to search the website with that domain www.richypet.com and I found that there is already a Shopify store with that domain.
Yes I tried to contact Namecheap I didn’t receive any response.
They have replied saying that is the domain is registered to my account probably the problem is from shopify
Yes they answered me by saying that is my domain is connected to another website and to make sure it is me the owner of that domain they asked me to do some stuff then they will reply to me and right now I am still waiting I don’t know what to do, it’s so frustrating.
They asked me to add TXT record into my domain console with data given and then tell them that I did after that they will contact but no one did
this is exactly what I did but not in Shopify in Namecheap because it is my domain provider and because the Shopify team told me that and now I am just waiting for the answer.
