This domain is already connected to another Shopify store

Hello! I cannot connect my domain name to my Shopify store. I own the domain when i want to connect to Shopify store, there is a notification says " This domain is already connected to another Shopify store.". I already try to connect manually with DNS Record but i still can’t connect it until now. Maybe there is some mistake when i try connect manually, but i didn’t know where the mistake is. Please how can I remove the domain from the store that holds my domain? and connect the domain the one i just bought with shopify store

Note:

I have already provided shopify in live chat that I have this domain and even recorded a video for them ( screen recording ) in which I did show that this domain and store is mine. But even after 3 weeks they are still not able to fix issue . The worst support ever is shopify

First thing you should do is check if you have any other Shopify accounts/stores. If you already added the domain to one store/account, then you would first need to remove it, in order to use it on your new store/account.

If you can’t figure out which account you’ve added the domain to – or if you don’t have access to the account anymore – then your only option would be to work with Shopify’s support team to have them verify your ownership of the domain, so that they can remove it for you.

There’s nothing anyone on these forums can do to help with this, unfortunately. You’d have to work with Shopify’s support directly.
