Hi, I’m a Shopify partner and developer, making a feature for a client.
We are now getting this error message when using the site. A few customers have also complained about this.
I suspect this is due a request limit and to a product being able to load around 250 products at once because each product is a color that can be displayed in a grid on the master color product (see screenshot) which means a customer can potentially load thousands of product items very fast by browsing through different color products.
Since caching will not really solve this as it can happen just by browsing around to different products - not that it caching would be a good solution since quantities should be up-to-date - what do you suggest I do?
Is this feature not fit for Shopify the way I’ve implemented it? The whole idea of the each color being a product, is important for the whole setup of their business backend.
