I’m new to dropshipping and I’m using Spocket. But, because I’m new I want to ask for advice here. Any thoughts on Spocket? It seems a little expensive, and it looks like it’s not giving me the best sourcing prices
My advice is don’t do it. The drop-shipping market is beyond saturated. It is dishonest to customers and they are becoming more aware and are steering clear of this type of commerce.

I’d give you a really personal and real suggestion. I would suggest you to try some other business instead of dropshipping because it had his era back in 2020 and dropshipping has now almost came to an end. Only people who have been doing it for years are managing it properly. So even if you start now, most likely you’ll end up giving up because of really tough competition in this field. No hard feelings, just want you to succeed but in the right direction. Best of luck for anything you proceed with.

Spocket brings speed, quality, and a clean UX—but it’s not the most cost-effective option for those starting out. If you’re price-sensitive, platforms like AliExpress (via DSers or Oberlo) might serve you better, though with longer shipping timelines.

I would suggest looking at your landed cost, not just the price tag. Factor in shipping time and reliability too. Sometimes a cheaper supplier ends up costing more once you account for delays or return headaches.
If you do want to shop around, AliExpress through DSers, CJdropshipping, and Zendrop are the usual go tos people compare against Spocket. Also, a lot of people do not realize you can actually negotiate pricing directly with suppliers on Spocket if you’re ordering in bulk!
Spocket is beginner-friendly but the margins are tighter - you’re paying for pre-vetted US/EU suppliers and faster shipping. Worth it if your audience expects quick delivery, less so if they’re comfortable waiting.
