We wish to disable some collection page / collection list of our webshop to show up in search engines. We used the code to prevent the crawling, but it doesn’t really work. How can we do that?
If you want to remove a page from search results, you’ll need to add the seo.hidden metafield. Here’s a good guide for that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWyEsVDrG54
If you really want to prevent crawling then you’d need to edit the /robots.txt file. But usually when people say they want to prevent crawling, they really mean they want to prevent indexing.
