ページ作成時に突然トップページに新着商品のカテゴリーが標示して、

商品も8つ表示が出てしまいました。

これは、修正する事はできるのでしょうか？

修正するなら、どこから修正すればいいのでしょうか？

修正というのが「新着商品のセクションを非表示にする」ということでしたら、テーマエディタに入って該当のセクションを非表示、あるいは削除にすることで対応できると思われます。
