We have a merchant who is using one of our apps to import refunds. When importing refunds we rely on the transaction data and we noticed that the total amount field doesn’t change after the order is refunded. There are a few things that look a little suspect on the data but I’m not sure if something else is going on. The merchant mentioned that when they do a refund in the Shopify Admin this field changes to 0. I was wondering if someone could help shed some light on this for me.
I have a some request ids from the merchant and from some tests that I’ve run. I can also reproduce the issue if that would be helpful.
