I’m in the process of totally redesigning our Shopify store (stonepaving.co.uk) as we’re looking to focus a lot more on this side of the business in 2025. We’re a specialist stone & porcelain paving importer and retailer supplying direct to customer via website and our 2 locations as well as working a lot with installers directly.
The current theme (Trademark) seems incredibly limiting in terms of the design capability so looking to change this and also add some additional functionality.
First question…
- Can you recommend a theme designed specifically in mind for businesses such as ours? Maybe one that’s used for builders merchants, other materials suppliers etc? We need to have the ability to include different pricing related to size of stone slabs or project packs to make up m2 (hope that makes sense)
Second questions…
- We want to create a dedicated area for “trade” customers where they can log in to see their lower pricing so it makes it easier to quote for customers on jobs and then order directly via the store. The “members area” should ideally have the ability to tweak the prices based on a % reduction depending on the contractor (i.e. not a site wide discount, more specifically related to the person logging in).
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated in terms of themes, apps etc.
