our shop isnt online actually, the prepage (login page) ist activated.
Is it possible to test Google Analytics with this prepage? Or is it blocking all tracking activities?

So you want to know how Google Analytics tracks your password “Coming Soon” landing page, is that right? GA actually does track the clicks on your passwd landing page under the rubric “Landing Pages” really well and your passwd page will also show on Google Search results if you submit your sitemap in your search console. Have you done that yet? See more great tips on the topic of SEO here and here.
Very important is how you designed your password landing page. For example, have you put an “opening date” for your store on it so all visitors to your password page can make a note of it to be there on “opening day”? Then you can leave a text on the password page like:
- “Hey, we will be opening soon on the XX.YY.ZZ. Join us on opening day for some great special offers. Feel free to use this coupon code ABCDEFG to get a great discount on the day! We look forward to seeing you there…”
That will really help to increase the clicks and even purchases in your store from day 1!

nein, nicht ganz.
Ich habe die GA Tracking codes in den theme code eingebaut und unter Einstellungen im Shop eingefügt. Allerdings zeigt mir GA keine Bewegung im tracking bzw. erhält keine Daten. Liegt das am Shop, der noch offline ist? hier ist ja die Maintennance Seite aktiv.
Wenn du das selber eingebaut hast dann müsste ein Experte das anschauen. Einen Experten findest du in unserer privaten FB Gruppe.
Die Shopify Passwortseite wird, wie ich bereits erwähnt habe, getrackt.
