Hi we are running 2 Brick stores (using Shopify POS) and website for water sports products (surf, kite, and foil) we have a lot of customers trading in their used gear when buying new gear. Until now, there is no real solution on how to manage Trade-ins in Shopify. We always use custom discount, but this is far from ideal because trade-ins are not visible in reporting after worts, and it affects the profit margin in reporting. We have this question all ready for a long time, but it seems there is no such thing on the agenda at Shopify to create. We can’t imagine that no other retailers having the same problem. We would like to know if there is a workaround for this issue or if there is going to be a update any time soon.
