I bought a sweater from my school’s gift shop (where I work) 2 days ago and my card was charged twice, even though the system was down and it declined my payment. Before making this payment, I didn’t know the system was down. I immediately told my manager and she figured out that the system was down. Once it was up and running again, she looked through the orders but there was no history of where I had made the purchase.
