I’m having an issue with the Translate & Adapt app on my store. For more than a week now, my dashboard has been stuck showing this message:
“Translating into German. This may take up to 2 minutes, but you can navigate away from this page.”
It never finishes. I contacted Shopify Support, but they couldn’t resolve it. They told me the backend cache would refresh within 24–48 hours, but it has now been another three days with no progress.
Has anyone else run into this issue with Translate & Adapt? Any advice on how to get the German translation to complete would be greatly appreciated.

Reload your page and check again. If it is still loading, leave it there, as it will send an email to notify you when it’s done.
It’s still the same on my end. No matter how many times I refresh, it always shows:
“We will email you at *** when this translation is complete. Larger stores may take several hours. Leaving this page will not stop translations in progress.”
I recommend that you stop this process, log in to your account using a different browser, and try translating again.
Where exactly can I stop this translation process? I don’t see any option on my end to cancel or stop it.
You can try going to your store admin > Settings > Languages and check if we can remove that language by clicking “…” next to it.
I’ve already changed German from Published to Unpublished, but the problem still remains. Please see my screenshot for reference.
In this case, if I click “Remove language” to delete German and then add it back, will any of my website data be lost?
I even tried uninstalling the “Translate & Adapt” app and then reinstalling it from my Shopify admin, but the issue is still not resolved.
You would contact Shopify team so they can stop this process for your store in this case!
I am interested to know if your translation issues are resolved. I have the same issue.
