Translating "I agree to terms and conditions" checkbox error

Hi everyone!

I implemented a checkbox with the text “I agree to terms and conditions” in english and german (main language).
I’m using the Translation Lab App to translate the website. It works everything fine besides the checkbox I implementet, lol. Well, thats not right… it works… for a milisecond after choosing English in the language switcher and the it changes back to the default text (which is in german).

The site in German looks correct:

When I click the Language switcher on the top right to English it changes the text correctly to:

A blink of an eye later it changes back to the German default text:

Now I think it has to to with the schema code in the bottom of the page, which is in german, but when i change to english, I don’t want to use the default text anymore. Should I move the Schema code somewhere else, or could it be a diffrent problem?

Here are the code used in cart.json:

Here are the code used in main-cart.liquid:

Here are the code used at the bottom of main-cart.liquid:

Thank you very much in advance for every advice!
Greetings
Tiago

Hello @Tyago ,

You can search your theme code to see how the language preferences are stored, and in turn the proper way to switch them.

If they are stored in liquid, or js cookies, ect you’ll have to change them that way.

If however you’d prefer for someone to sort that out for you, I do this sort of work and you can message me if interested.

If you’d like further assistance, just let me know.

Thank you a lot for the answer @David_Weru

My problem is that I can’t read code very well. It’s the first time I’m making a shopify page and only made 2 others, so I’m only on a beginning level I would say and make the changes more through trial and error, haha.

So I tried to look for what you were saying, but I’m just lost where to search. I strongly think that the added code for the chebox in the buttom of the main-cart.liquid file is the problem. As I think the translation lab app translates it correctly, but then it refreshes the file and at the buttom there is the schema code with a custom default text in german, so it probably overwrites the translation (english) again with german.
