Thanks so much for the clarity here @clem_ay . Filter values are now translatable; since Shopify Editions. If you add translations via auto-translate, manually translating the product metafields on every product in Translate & Adapt, or in bulk via the CSV, you should see the filters 100% translated on your storefront. Reported issues (ongoing):
- Users can’t find certain metafields in Translate & Adapt; filter values still not translating for some stores; rendering inconsistencies for list outputs (e.g., “Red and White”); can’t use Liquid “| t” on metafields; difficulty overriding a metafield title (“Shipping and Returns”). Screenshots provided.
Status: Partially resolved with new capabilities, but inconsistencies and UI gaps remain. Staff requested examples/screenshots and advised CSV-based bulk translation and Search & Discovery localization.
