Translation of metafields with type list.single_line_text_field

Hi,

We have saved metafields on products of type list.single_line_text_field.

When trying to translate the created metafield I first query the metafield using translatableResourcesByIds() query with the metafields id.

But not getting any translatableContent back (with the digest needed to translate).

The response from translatableResourcesByIds() is empty like this;

Is it not possible to translate multi line meta fields at all?

Hi Jazepsmalta,

No solution for us. I think its not possible to translate metafields of list type yet…

Hi, from japan.

I have experienced similar issue and contacted with shopify support team.

Their answer was that current shopify cannot translate metafields on products of type list.single_line_text_field. This is the current shopify specification.

They told me alternative way to use app VT Labs Metafield Translator, so I will try and check if it solve this issue or not.
