Transparent background images turning white background on the Shapes theme

I upload a product with transparent background and like a day later it turns white automatically by itself. Why is this happening?

We don’t know if you have edited the image before, but it seems that your white background images are in .jpg format. Because the jpg format will come with a white background, to have a transparent background, you need to convert the image to .png format. You can check this by comparing the format of the .png format. images with white background and transparent background images.
