I created 2 different pages for 2 different buttons on one page. But when i go to edit these pages that the buttons lead to, it shows up as if the button’s page (Where the button should lead to) was on the same page as where the button is. i need to make this button go to a whole different page that has nothing to do with the page on which the button is located! I have tried everything that i am capable of knowing to do and i just can’t figure it out… please help me!!!
I think you need to create a template for both pages if they both will have different info and sections. Because without creating specific templates for specific pages, all pages will look the same.
I tried picking a template theme when adding a new page but it only gave me 2 options… how do i create a new one ?
There’s two ways, you can create one and assign it through the customizer
You can do it by going to Edit Code (the way I prefer)
Next choose page from the dropdown
Then choose JSON, and enter template name below.
Go to Pages, and select each of the individual pages you’d want your buttons to redirect to, and assign the templates you create to them.
Ok i just tried doing that, i even searched up how to… but it does not show a “create template” option for me as the instructions showed. i am having a really hard time
