Trouble Translating Variant Options in Prestige Theme Using Localize App

Hello everyone,

I’m using the Prestige Theme along with the Localize app for a multilingual Shopify store (French, German, English). Everything works well except for product variant options — specifically jewelry material variants like “Créoles argentées”, “Créoles plaquées or”, etc.

These variant names are not translating, and since many products are affected, it’s not feasible to update each one manually. I couldn’t find a way in Localize to automatically translate variant labels, and I’m wondering:

  • Is there a way to automatically translate variant options with Localize?

  • Has anyone found a workaround or a fix within the Prestige theme?

  • Do I need to use metafields or custom code for this?
