Trouble with Google Search – Brand Auto-Correcting and Not Showing in Results

Hi everyone,

I’m having a tough time getting my brand to appear properly on Google. When I search for “SewChic4U,” it keeps auto-correcting to “Sew Chic,” and my website sewchic4u.com doesn’t show up in the search results at all.

I’ve already uploaded my sitemap through Google Search Console and verified the site, but the problem is still there. This has been discouraging—it’s affecting my visibility, and people are struggling to find my products.

Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on how to fix it? Any help would be so appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the tip! I’ve done a bit of SEO work, but I’d love to get more specific.

Do you mean updating the titles and descriptions for my products and collections? And are there any tools or apps you’d recommend for Shopify that could help with full-store SEO optimization?

Also, would this help with Google auto-correcting “SewChic4U” to “Sew Chic”? That part has been really frustrating.

Hi @SewChic4U

We encountered a similar situation before when chatting with our users. The way we guide them to resolve this issue is to check whether you have set up the redirections from other places, like platforms or Apps before. When you can find them out, this issue will be resolved by cancelling the redirections.
