Trying to create a cart permalink - but not seeing an option to "create check out link"

Hi,

I am trying to create a cart permalink for one of the products on my store. I am following the steps in this article, in summary:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products, and then click the product that you want to create a cart permalink for.
  2. Click the More actions dropdown menu, and then click Create checkout link.
  3. Select a product variant.
  4. Click Copy link.

When I click "more actions: I don’t see the option to “create checkout link”.

I also tried to create the permalink manually, but this didn’t work either.

I understand that you’re trying to create a cart permalink and you’re not seeing the action to create the checkout link. In order to create a cart permalink, you’ll need to install the Buy Button sales channel. Once you have the Buy Button sales channel setup, the Create checkout link action button will appear on all of your products.
