Is anyone else getting heavily targeted with phishing-style emails after posting their store here?
I’m getting 20+ emails a day. Most hit spam, but a few still slip into my inbox. What’s frustrating is a lot of them don’t even start as obvious outreach. They’ll come in as simple contact messages like “is your store live?” or something casual, then once you reply, it turns into a marketing pitch, collaborator request, or some kind of “we’ll grow your store” angle. I’ve even had podcast invites follow the same pattern.
At this point it feels less like normal outreach and more like mass-targeted funnels or phishing attempts toward new store owners.
Curious how others are handling this. Are you just ignoring everything, or have you found a solid way to filter these out without missing legit messages?
Trying to stay cautious while building, but it’s getting pretty excessive.
