Trying to reconnect my domain

I’m trying to reconnect my domain but it’s telling me I have to change codes but I can’t get to TXT records part to change it. It gave me what I had to put in make it correct, I’m just having trouble getting to the section. Can someone help, please :folded_hands:t5:

Hi,

Please let me know where you bought the domain from (who is domain registrar) ?

If the domain was bought from a third party (outside of Shopify) then under the dns settings of your domain host, you need to have Aname as 23.227.38.65 and Cname as shops.myshopify.com

Wait for 48 hrs as it takes this time to propagate the domain. If you need help, you can share your domain and we can check your domain settings from here.

Thanks

www.reign-publication.com I purchased it from godaddy

Hi,

As i open the url www.reign-publication.com just now, i am getting the below error:

Can you please confirm, if you have not removed Online Store under Sales channel by mistake ? Please go to Settings → Apps and sales channels and share a screenshot from the right so that we can see if everything is fine.

Regards

I recently bought the domain Premium Team Names and faced the same issue while reconnecting it. The problem usually occurs when you need to verify domain ownership by adding a TXT record, but finding the correct section in your domain registrar’s settings can be tricky.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Log in to your domain registrar’s account (like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains).
  2. Find the DNS Management or DNS Settings section.
  3. Look for an option to add or edit TXT Records.
  4. Copy the verification code you were given and paste it into a new TXT record.
  5. Save the changes and wait a few minutes (sometimes up to 24 hours) for the changes to take effect.

If you’re unable to find the TXT records section, try searching for “Manage DNS” or check your registrar’s help guide. You can also contact their support for step-by-step assistance. Hope this helps!
