Hello, I have two accounts I log in and out of all day. They get confused when logging in. Is there a way to make this more efficient?
Use two different browers. Like a Chrome Browser and a Firefox. Most shopify developers logged in multiple accounts at once in different browsers without getting banned or issues.

You don’t need two separate browsers for this. Just create two profiles in whatever browser you’re using, in Chrome it’s the profile icon top right > Add, and you make one profile per Shopify account. Each profile keeps its own cookies and login session completely separate, so you stay logged into Account A in one window and Account B in the other, no conflicts, no constant logging in and out.
Once set up, you can have both profile windows open side by side all day and just click between them. You can even name them and give them different colors so you instantly know which account you’re in. Works the same way in Edge, Firefox, and Brave if you’re not on Chrome. Way cleaner than logging in and out repeatedly or running two different browsers.

I had this constantly with client stores. Sometimes I’d log into one store and Shopify would randomly bounce me back into the other one again. Separate Chrome profiles helped a lot honestly, otherwise I kept ending up in the wrong admin during product edits.

To stop your Shopify sessions from mixing up, you can use separate web browsers like Chrome and Firefox, or set up different user profiles within the same browser to keep your cookies completely isolated. Alternatively, you can also use the exact same email address for both stores to utilize Shopify’s built-in store switcher, or manage them through a Partner dashboard if they are client accounts.

An easy hack to prevent the confusion is to dedicate each Shopify store to its own browser profile. Chrome and Edge allow you to create separate profiles, which have their own login sessions, cookies and saved passwords, that way you won’t get cross logins.
Another option is to use a password manager to auto fill the right store login and avoid manual switching mistakes. Many merchants with multiple stores also have one profile for each store as this keeps administration sessions isolated and helps prevent confusion in day-to-day ops.
If you don’t want to mess with profiles, just use two different browsers entirely. Run Store A inside Google Chrome and keep Store B logged in inside Firefox or Brave. Both stay logged in 24/7 on your computer.
