Hi! I’d like my search bar to stop redirecting me to a different page every time I click on it, and instead allow me to type and search directly. Is it possible to do this? The header was purchased through the Section Store app, so it’s not Shopify’s default header. I contacted the app team, but they told me they don’t offer that kind of customization.
Does anyone know how to do what I’m describing or could help me with it? Thanks!

That will help me see where the search bar is redirecting and why it’s not letting you type directly.

Okay, got it. If you don’t want the search bar to redirect customers to a separate page and instead want them to search directly in place, you will need to update your theme — but only if the theme doesn’t already support that feature.
Customizing a custom header with custom features isn’t wasn’t built for is an advanced theme customization beyond the scope of the forums.
If code savvy try transplanting such features from other free themes, or it’s sections.
