We used to be able to add YouTube video links to the media for a product listing, but for the past several months this has stopped working. When I choose “Add from URL” in the media and paste in the YouTube URL, an error message appears saying:
Media upload failed
- External video: Media could not be created because the external video is not listed or is private.
This video is definitely not private and it has always worked in the past to upload YouTube videos this way. It has failed with every YouTube video I have tried for the past few months, since at least mid-June 2023.

But if you look at this past listing below, the YouTube video was able to be added to the media with no issue back in February 2023.
Did something get buggy? Did Shopify stop supporting adding YouTube video links?
