I purchased my Domain through Shopify several months ago but never set up a store and don’t intend to at this time. I am trying to use the domain to setup email through another provider and need to edit DNS records but am unable to do so as my stores are inactive. How can I administer my account without having an active shopify store?

If the store is inactive, then your best option is to email Shopify support directly. They’ll help you get access back to the domain/point domain to another host.
