After setting up all my settings and opening my shop for sales, I realised with great disappointment that Shopify, despite being a prominent e-commerce platform, doesn’t support such a basic marketing strategy as automatically applying store-wide discounts and displaying discounted prices. I’m shocked. It’s such a fundamental feature that I didn’t even think to check if it could be done on this platform before starting to sell. I really can’t believe this is true.
Browsing the forum, I noticed that many others have expressed frustration about this issue, but no solution seems to be available. Has there been any change?
Please don’t suggest entering code or using primitive methods like inputting comparing prices for each product variant and then correcting them manually. These methods are neither practical nor applicable. Is there an app for this, or is Shopify considering addressing this issue anytime soon?
