Unable to hire a shopify expert because I am not able to access my messages

I’ve been trying to reach a shopify expert. They are responding to me, but I am not able to access their messages and respond. I have no way of reaching out to them. Please advise as to why I am not able to access messages. It keeps blocking me out. Support keeps giving me internal error message.

You have to login to shopify community and then you send messages to experts or developers.
