I have been developing extension-only apps for my Plus merchant. The apps are installed on my Partner’s Dashboard and I used to select custom distribution to install them on my client’s behalf. Unfortunately, since last week I wasn’t able to install new apps using the the link generated via custom distribution anymore. I keep getting this error on the screenshot.
Thank you for sharing your question with our network. There were some recent changes made to the way custom apps can be installed on multiple plus stores, perhaps which you may not have seen yet. Make sure to check out the official documentation for installing custom apps, but you’ll also find the instructions below:
Optional: To limit your app’s installs to one store, uncheck Allow multi-store installs for one Plus organization.
To create the app install link, click Generate link.
Copy the install link.
After you’ve copied the install link, you can send it to your users so that they can install your app. For example, you can share the install link by email with the storeowner.
It sounds like that might be the issue here, but if you run into any further troubles make sure to contact Partner Support through your Partner Dashboard.
