Unable to issue Clearpay refund: Has anyone found a solution?

I can’t issue a refund. Error says Unable to refund and the payment gateway was clearpay. has anyone experienced this before? is there a workaround?

Depending on how the third-party gateway you’re using is set up, you may need to refund it via your gateway account rather than from your Shopify admin.

If you don’t see an option to refund the order from the order page in the admin, you will likely need to select to refund it from your Clearpay.

To be sure of this, I’d recommend getting in touch with them using their contact form here.

They would be able to confirm how their integration works in terms of refunds, and how you’d be able to put one through for their gateway.

Are you just in the early stages of selling here, or have you been established a while already?
