Unable to login Ongoing Issue Unresolved Since June 5th

Hello,

my client can no longer log in to her shop, and each login attempt is flagged as suspicious.

Two-factor authentication is required (sending an email to the email address), but i made a mistake: the email used for Shopify registration was not used by the client and has been deactivated.

I live in Belgium (Europe). This problem has been ongoing since June 5th, and despite various contacts with support, the situation has not improved. I have proven (and can still do so) with the unique codes received during registration that I am the creator of the account.

Now, my request is to change the email address linked to this account. I am writing here, on the forum, to find someone competent who can solve my problem. I am convinced that someone with technical access (backend) can resolve this issue quickly.

Thank you for reading my message. I thank the people who will try to help me.

I am sorry if I wrote this message in the wrong place; I am doing my best.

Hi @memesh

The first thing you need to do is to manage accessing your client’s Shopify store with all the effort you made. After login, you can change the email address used to log in by updating the account information, like this screenshot shown below.

If you fail to access store backend still and tried several times, make sure to contact Shopify Support Team as soon as possible and raise this situation to the related specific team. After account verification, they shall have the access to update the account information for your client directly. Thank you!
