I set up my store and my payment gateway..I activated the payment gateways and now they’re seen as active in my store.
So in order to test I ordered a product from my store but at checkout it is shown as “there was an issue processing your payment. Try again or use a different payment method”.
I brought up this issue to the virtual Shopify assistant to discuss and with its help I checked my Shopify store status and everything looked fine over there.
Are you sure the payment gateway is working on Live mode instead of Demo one? This might be one possible reason, especially if you’re using local payment gateways that are not very popular and might have issues. You can check the status/ mode of the gateway in Settings → Payments → Select your additional payment method → Scroll and check if “Test mode” is toggled off.
