Up until an hour ago, I was able to upload images into new products. Now I am unable to upload any images!! What is going on? Is Shopify making more changes that we are unaware of?

They are having a server error with Google Cloud, which powers file & image storage and parts of their API. Likely a bad update/fix that was pushed, but who knows. They are at least aware of the issue and working on it. Only thing we can do is wait.

Cloudflare servers are down. I assume this has something to do with it. Just wait it out.

Yes same here! Called customer service and they said they are aware of the issues and are working to fix it. Its killing my day. Had so many products to add to my site. 
and at 2K a month for Shopify Plus this should not be a thing!
Same issue here. Carved out time to get a new collection of products loaded today. Can’t do squat. My patience is starting to grow thin with the Shopify issues lately.
