I am new to Shopify and pay for the basic plan, and I am the only person with access to my account. My bill this month included an 89$ per month POS pro purchase and I need a refund. I have tried searching for a number to call, but Shopify doesn’t have this kind of support. That’s nuts to me. I tried using their AI help assistant, and it surprisingly helped very little but did connect me to a ‘real person’ on the other end of the chat. This ‘real person’ used very similar syntax to the AI help assistant, and said they would escalate my matter to a completely different team that deals with refunds of this sort of thing. I have not heard anything back via email from that team like the ‘real person’ said I would and a few days has gone by. Crazy to me that a company this big can just take my money and there is virtually nothing I can do to get it back even if a mistake was made by the company. I NEVER CONSENTED OR AUTHORIZED TO BE SIGNED UP FOR POS PRO.
