Unavailable pages/products redirecting to the homepage?

Hi All!

We just found out a large number of links to our site are getting 404 errors. These pages are no longer active on the site (old pages, out of stock products, etc.)

Obviously this is an issue…

Is there anyway to have those pages automatically redirect to the homepage instead of a 404 redirect?

you can add this code on your 404 page.

1: Online store > themes > Actions > Edit code

2: search keyword 404.liquid
