I recently started a business on Shopify, however the issue is I am underage. I set up my entire page and got through every step on the creation and even started paying for a plan. Once I got to the business verification page to finally get on a payroll, I entered my information and it claimed I was underage.
I am aware that I am not legally allowed to own the business underage, but I also know that Shopify states that an underage seller may do business if a guardian or a parent is running and paying for it.
So my issue is that after entering my verification info, I can’t seem to find a way to reset the verification from my name to my parent’s name so that they can be the legal owner. I am just stuck halfway through the verification process. Am I just stuck until I’m 18?
