Dear Shopify-community,
I have browsed through the help community and found some (older) posts regarding DKIM and hope to find a solution here since this problem remains unsolved as of now.
The case is that the set up of a TXT record for DKIM did not work in this case yet since Shopify does not allow underscores in TXT records. In this case Shopify is being used in conjunction with an ERP software. The domain is also hosted via Shopify. Mails from the webshop are being sent out automatically to the customers (e.g. invoices). Hence the ERP software provider has issued hostnames (including the permitted underscore) as well as the public key, both need to be set up in the DNS TXT record within Shopifys settings.
In case the relevant data are copied into the field and the save button is clicked, nothing happens. No error message, but no TXT entry either.
It would be unsatisfactory having to switch to another domainhoster. Is there an option how to solve this issue? Has anyone else had this problem?
