  • Fake subscriptions and reminder emails being triggered
  • Store analytics becoming unreliable

  • A community member suggests using bot protection apps like HumanPresence Shop Protector and Negate Bot Protection as potential solutions

Too many active carts but no visitors. Those are simply bots that attack websites!

No one can resolve this. Looks like shopify doesnt care about this. Meanwhile we are suffering.

I have 1677 Active carts - is this normal? No!!

After every attack, I have a fake abonded carts, I have fake users, I have fake subscriptions, I have fake reminder emails to fake users for fake left carts!

I Shopify will not fix this, I will definetly go to other platform soon!

We are tired of this!

Thank you!

Hi @MartinsSilins

It is either has technical issues or error with the analytics. I highly suggest that you use apps to protect your store from bots as well such as [HumanPresence] Shop Protector and Negate ‑ Bot Protection.

This definetly is not technical issue or error with the analytics, becouse after attacks I have new fake users all with @protonmail.com
