Unusual Cart Count Increase in Shopify Analytics Since October

Hello,

I’m using Dawn Theme and experiencing a sudden increase in cart counts in my Shopify analytics. My store typically sees an average daily traffic of around 400 visitors, with about 25-30 add-to-cart actions. However, since early October, my cart counts have spiked to around 200-220 per day, even though my ad settings and traffic sources have remained consistent.

I suspect these numbers might be inaccurately recorded, possibly due to bot traffic, a technical issue, or a reporting error. Has anyone else experienced something similar, or could this be related to a specific issue with Shopify’s analytics?

Hello! @morphx45 i’d suggest that you make use of some reliable Shopify tools for tracking traffic to confirm if your suspicions are true. Some of the tools I would recommend you try are Shopify Analytics and WebStat.
