I attempted to update the buyer’s information on the cart using only their email and phone. However, I encountered an issue with the ‘CartBuyerIdentityInput’ mutation, which requires a customerAccessToken to modify the buyer’s details. Despite having access to the buyer’s email, phone, and customerId, I do not have Shopify Plus, so I am exploring alternative methods to update the buyer on the cart without using multipass.
Hey @samir_growwx - the cart and checkout components are somewhat limited to non-Plus merchants to help streamline buyer and merchant experience, that said, I do get where this could be useful in certain cases for folks who are not Plus merchants. Could you provide a specific use-case for why you’d like to see this functionality extended to other Shopify plan tiers? I can’t guarantee anything, but I am happy to take your feedback to our product team, and having a specific reason for why you’d like certain functionality to be implemented can help these types of reports get wider attention.
