Women’s clothing store with two physical stores using Shopify POS. Majority of sales are in-store.

What feedback do you want?

We would want POS to automatically print a receipt at the end of an exchange or return transaction, the same way it does after a regular sale. To give the customer an updated receipt as well as make our workflow more seamless. Right now, our employees have to rescan the old receipt to search for the new order to then print out the most recent order receipt.

@fashiontrendla A good workaround for now is training staff to finalize exchanges as a new sale transaction instead of editing the original order, since Shopify POS auto-prints receipts for completed sales. You could also look into POS apps or Shopify Flow automations that trigger receipt printing after returns/exchanges. Definitely agree this should be a built-in Shopify POS feature though.
