Updating Bank acct info (3 chats, no email)

I had fraudulent activity on my business bank acct, which required shutting it down and opening a new one. When I attempt to update, Shopify won’t accept the previous routing/checking #. I’ve been on the chat 4 times and every robot tells me the exact same thing: “please allow some time to resolve this concern for you on priority and keep an eye on your inbox.”

Meantime, the platform won’t process my payouts and agents say they literally don’t have any way of connecting me with a supervisor, or the “internal team”. It’s unacceptable for a subscription based e-commerce platform to provide so little in the way of customer service: no phone number, no email, no ticket number.

I’m very tempted to start looking for other options. If anyone has a hack as far as getting tech support, I’m all ears.

Woooow. This is amazing to me, that not only does Shopify fail to respond to really pressing customer issues, they actually “partner” with third parties who try to sell you a service. And obv Shopify gets a piece of that too. Mind blown.
