Im updating our Shopify theme to a new version for the first time in ages. I do have google tag manager installed on our current theme with a bunch of tags applied. Once I go live with the new Shopify theme do I need to resubmit all Google Tag manager tags to the new theme somehow? I’ve added the google tag manager code to the new themes code.
Or do all the tags I’ve got in my google tag manager workspace get automatically added as i’ve added the google tag manger code into the themes code?
Hi, i have a similar situation. I would like to know, how do i locate the tags on the current theme? What do i search for in the edit code section to copy and past over to the new theme?
Also, do i copy over the code after the theme is live or can i copy it over while the theme is still in preview mode?

Ive located my gtag lines of code in the theme.liquid and i see that theres a few lines of code on the checkout:
I cant seem to find the Facebook Pixel code. not sure if that was inserted via Cpanel CNAME Records.
