I need to eliminate tags for my website so that they don’t appear in the search dropdown. Can I do this from a list rather than edit every product?

To eliminate tags from your Shopify store’s search dropdown without individually editing every product, follow these steps.
→ Go to the ‘Products’ section in your Shopify admin dashboard.
→ Click on the ‘Tags’ tab.
→ Click the ‘View all tags’ button.
→ Select the tags you want to remove.
→ Click the ‘Remove’ button.
→ Finally, click the ‘Apply changes’ button.
This will remove the selected tags from the list of tags. They will no longer appear in the search dropdown on your website.
If you have tags currently applied to products, you must remove them from the products before eliminating them from the list of tags. Follow these steps to accomplish this.
→ Go to the ‘Products’ section in your Shopify admin dashboard.
→ Select the products that have the tags you want to remove.
→ Click on the ‘Edit products’ button.
→ In the ‘Tags’ section, delete the tags you wish to remove.
→ Click on the ‘Save’ button.
If you have numerous tags to remove, you can utilize the search bar to locate the specific tags.
You can also export the list of tags to a CSV file using the ‘Export’ button. This can be beneficial if you need to remove a large number of tags or if you want to maintain a record of the removed tags.
