Updating variant selector when variant image is clicked (Empire Theme)

Hello,

I’m experiencing an issue on my product pages with multiple variants. When a variant is selected from the dropdown menu, the corresponding product image updates correctly. However, if a customer clicks on the product image instead, the variant selector does not update accordingly. This has led to some confusion, with customers thinking they ordered a different variant than what they received.

Is there a way to ensure that clicking on the product image also updates the variant selector? I’ve attempted to solve this with my limited JavaScript knowledge but haven’t had any success. You can see an example of the issue on this product page:

Yes it’s possible but it needs a deep customization in the theme you are using.

btw you can try to ask from theme support about it.

Or you can go with a theme in which this option is available by default.
