Urgent help to disable a image icon popup in Apparelix Theme

Hey there everyone. I’m completely stumped on how to remove the ugly gear icon that is appearing on all my product images when you hover over them, or that automatically shows up in mobile view.

I’ve tried looking through my code snippets, but can’t figure out where to find this. I can easily turn off the quick view icon through the theme product card settings, but the gear icon that allows to quick view variants for the products I can’t find.

My client doesn’t want this to appear and her site needs to go live today. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi @jaleclothing

If you try adding this to the bottom of your theme.css it should help?

.product_listing__main .product_item form .add_to_cart_button {
    display: none;
}

Or if you can provide a link if the above doesn’t work?

Thanks

Tried pasting into my theme.css.liquid file and it didn’t change anything. The link to the store is jaleclothing.com

Hi @jaleclothing

I’ve just hovered a few images on this page - https://jaleclothing.com/collections/fall-dresses

Including the one you highlighted above.

And it doesn’t look like that cog is appearing anymore?

Are you looking on product pages or collection pages?

Are you sure you’re not on a preview version of a non-updated theme?

Thanks

I checked collection pages and the main home page in the best sellers and the gear icon doesn’t show up until you hover over the product. Also, if the product is out of stock it shows a opaque shopping cart button, but if the product has variations, then it shows the gear icon. If I look on mobile then the icon appears by default. Just checked this.

Can I just disable this button entirely?

Hi @jaleclothing

If you want to just disable those hover buttons completely, try this in the bottom of your theme.css:

.product_listing__main .product-buttons {
    display: none!important;
}

Have a look through the theme options for something like “Variant Selector” when you’re on a collections page in the customiser.

I’m not familiar with your particular theme so I can only give you the information I can see from here.

This worked perfectly, thank you!
