I have an urgent query regarding my clients’ website, which has been severely affected since installing an app, with the intention of optimizing the site.
On Saturday, we installed an app with the intention to optimize images and other factors such as Non-Rendering scripts. The app was only installed for a short while and had optimised
the images, but never published the amendments, due to noticing the site was extremely slow after the app had optimized the image. We uninstalled the app and installed another, that was
more effective, but the site remains very, very slow to load, and has been for days now. Customers cannot purchase any products and are asking how to get the site to load correctly.
We have tried to find an app that can clear the cache to delete any bad code, but there aren’t any available, and there are no available options within Shopify itself.
We would be very grateful if there is anyone out there that could offer a solution to undo the damage this app has done to our site.
